Terms of Service
Last updated: October 14, 2026
These Terms govern your use of BriskClip (轻剪), including the web app, Chrome extension and this website (the “Service”), operated by an individual developer (“we”, “us”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
BriskClip is a browser-based video editing tool. We may add, change or remove features over time.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your country.
3. Plans and payment
The Service offers a Free plan and a paid Pro subscription (currently US$7.99 per month or US$59 per year). The price, billing interval and any applicable taxes are shown before purchase. Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. We will give at least 30 days' notice of any price change, which applies from your next renewal.
4. Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the paid period. Refunds are handled under our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
5. Your content
You own the videos and other content you create. Your media is processed locally in your browser. You are responsible for having the rights to any material you edit, record or publish.
6. Asset library
Assets in the library are provided under their respective licenses (for example CC0, OFL, MIT or CC BY), shown on each asset. You must follow each asset's license and attribution requirements. Premium assets are available to Pro subscribers.
7. Acceptable use
Do not use the Service to infringe others' rights, record content you are not allowed to record, distribute illegal or harmful content, or attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer quotas of, or abuse the Service.
8. Open source
Parts of BriskClip are based on open-source software, including OpenCut (MIT License). See Third-party Licenses.
9. Disclaimer
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Keep backups of important projects.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
11. Termination
We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms; continued use after changes means you accept them.
